Why Am I Still Blogging?

Even before the explosion of GPTs, blogs already seemed to be dying. Now, the situation is worse. GPTs are now absorbing a large portion of web traffic. Someone once said that blogging in the AI era is like yelling into the void.

But I want to think about this differently.

Do not care about the traffic; care about the writing. Since almost no one may read my posts, I can focus entirely on the writing itself. Writing is how I clarify what I actually think. Thus, I could make this blog as a writing playground. Its most important reader will be myself.

Most posts will be about what I read, what I think, and what I do. This blog is a public record of a part of my intellectual life.
